Imponderables

I've never seen any mention of Gabby attending Roy & Dale's wedding.

In all the photos that I've seen, except one, the patch on Gabby's pants has been on his right knee.

In that photo (front cover of comic #), the patch is on Gabby's left knee.....possibly the

negative was backwards during the printing process.

The image used in making the Target (Collectible) is the same as on one of the Trading Cards.

A short 'blurb' in the July 1944 issue of 'Movie Life', along with the ubiquitous photo of Gabby on a rock with

his gun aimed at the camera, indicates that Gabby's hat and leather vest are of 1921 vintage.
